Carousel signage allows you to upload and use images and videos and display them on displays around your venue.
Image file types accepted: PNG, JPG, JPEG
Video files accepted: MP4, YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion & IMDB video
Please note that IMDB video may not autoplay on most browsers. It is advisable to use direct MP4s or YouTube links and to have a machine with a wired internet connection to operate your carousel signage.
Both types of media allows for text overlay, for which you can set a heading and a description.
Adding new media
Pressing "Add Media" will allow you to add new media and control timings on the carousel. "Open Media" will open the asset manager so you can upload assets to your installation.

You are able to upload appropriately formatted files to the system, or use the gallery picker to select pre-uploaded files. Image data is cached for offline use, you can learn more about this here.
To show specific content on certain screens in your venue, you can use the screens shortcode system that display content that are assigned to them. By default, you can create up to 10 independent screens in the system - this can be extended by reaching out to support. Assigning a screen to media is simple - all you need to do is edit the content and select the desired screen from the options at the bottom of the modal.
By default, all media is assigned to the standard /carousel/ endpoint - this will show all the media you've uploaded or selected.
